What people are saying about the "Essential 7" oils...
PanAway Oil / Lavender Oil:
At the gym, while changing machines I banged my shin on a bar sticking out from one of the machines. It really hurt! I immediately went to the locker room, took out my oil pouch and selected PanAway and Lavender. I applied PanAway for the pain, and then I layered Lavender also for pain and to prevent bruising.
I went out and continued my workout. The pain was much less; in fact it didn't really hurt at all unless I pressed on it. The lump that had started to form went down and I never bruised!

Lavender Oil:
A couple of weeks ago my eldest son, Allan, was severely burned. He offered to help his landlord burn some dead limbs at the back of his lot. He was unaware that the landlord also owned the property behind his lot and was in the process of evicting the tenant. It appears that the landlord usually does the "burning" and consequently an explosive was hidden in the branches by the angry tenant. Even though Allan had the presence of mind to drop and roll, all the skin was burned from both legs and his right hand. He told me that if he had not had the Peace and Calming I gave him for Christmas he didn't think he could have made it to the hospital. The closest hospital did not have a burn unit so they gave him a shot of morphine and transported him to another hospital that did. There they put the artificial skin on and kept him pretty well sedated for a few days. Fortunately, the artificial skin took and no grafts were required. Meanwhile I rushed an order of lavender and panaway to him. After he was released from the burn unit he still checked in daily and had the dressings changed. He told the Doctor at the burn unit about the oils and started putting them around the outside of the bandages. Last week, after the bandages were removed he did a test on one large burn area on his arm. He treated 1/2 with the Lavender and left the other half. He reported to me that within two days the 1/2 treated
with Lavender had turned pale pink and had no more pain while the
untreated half was still bloody red and very painful. He was on his way to show the Doctor at the Burn Unit the results and then was going to immediately start treating himself on the other areas. I am eager to hear what the response of the Doctor is. Hopefully, he will have an open mind and will be able to help others.
God bless these wonderful oils.

Peppermint Oil / Lavender Oil:
...The organic Peppermint oil helped to dry my nose up during the
August hay fever season. I also was happy to get relief from pain in my lower back from a previous sledding accident by using a blend of oils. Another blend of oils has helped me get some very deep sleep. Best of all my wife has been able to knock out headaches, which she gets almost daily for the past 20 years. All she did was smell the organic lavender oil. She has been able to help several other co-workers who are now ordering the essential oil products and spreading the word.

Peppermint Oil:
I had some North Carolina ants in my kitchen. I watched them to determine where they were entering, and put a cotton ball with peppermint in that spot. In a little while, they all disappeared. They were back the next day, having found a new entry. I repeated this procedure with the same result. No more ants.
Good luck,
Mary

I had my nose broken June 15, 2002. I had sinus problems before so this did not help it. I was not able to breath through my nose and had lots of headaches. Around mid September I was introduced to Young Living products. I was not too sure about oils helping but I was willing to try them. I was going to the Dr. and specialists during this time also. I used Peppermint not but three days and I started breathing out through my nose. I was very surprised and had an appointment with the specialist who claimed "some of those other things help", I was not sure if he agreed or was just apprehensive but he did not seem to like me using these products. So he gave me a spray and said this would help better. I tried the spray and since I could not sniff up on my nose I was not able to use it so I put it away after trying two times and continued two times a day with the Peppermint. After one week, I was able to breath in and out of my nose and I felt lots better. I could not believe this was working so well but it was. I was a true testament to it. I started to tell others at work who are amazed but remember when I could not breathe. I have been using the Peppermint for only one and a half months. When I went back to the specialist he suggested a preventative medicine to continue my ability to breathe still. He claimed it was the sprays even when I told him I only used the sprays two times. He was amazed that the oils would work so well, but could not keep the claim the spray did it. I am not taking the preventative medicine because I have not had breathing problems since I started. I would like to thank Young Living for this reason and let others know how well this worked. I am now trying other products and will be introducing them to those at work who seen my change.
Thank you for being there for me,
Catherine Scott

Joy Oil:
I love all the oils in the Essential 7 Kit, yet I must say my favorite is the Joy blend. From the first time I used that oil, I felt an overwhelming opening in my heart. I felt more self-acceptance, an inner peace and a sense of deep comfort. I didn't even know my heart was closed until I experienced it's opening.

I am babysitting my sister's three-year-old for 4 days. Julia wakes
Each morning in a grouch!! She usually whines and fusses for at least 30 minutes. My sister has not been able to distract her or change this behavior in any way.
The first morning I had my JOY oil out waiting for "sleepy-head". She whined all the way from her room to her mother's lap. One drop of JOY over her heart and she was playing with the other kids in less than two minutes!!
Now that I'm alone with her, we repeat the same thing every morning – it is truly amazing. When she woke up in the middle of the night missing her mother, she started to fuss. I had the oil beside the bed and put one drop over her heart. She was asleep again in about 30 seconds.
Now I'm wondering if this would work for those kids I hear on the planes.

PanAway Oil:
I was rearranging my bedroom furniture when my solid oak, collapsible, futon frame collapsed right on my thumb. The pain was excruciating. As soon as I could catch my breath, I grabbed my PanAway oil and applied a couple of drops to the area. In just a few seconds I felt that familiar, tingling, heat-sensation and the pain started to subside. I applied the oil regularly throughout the day, more frequently right after the accident with the applications becoming more spread out as the day went on. By the end of the day I could barely feel where the injury had happened, even as I firmly pressed around the area looking for it, and there were no signs of trauma-no throbbing, discoloration or pain. These oils are truly amazing!

Purification Oil Blend:
I was out gardening when either a hornet or a wasp stung me. I put Purification on it within 2-3 minutes after it happened & kept applying it every 15 minutes after. The pain was gone within 2 applications & the bump was gone the next day. I had a hard time finding the spot when I was showing someone at a convention 2 days after it happened. I love Purification!

My first experience with YL oils was using Purification to get rid of cigar smoke in a rental car. The odor almost knocked me down when I opened the door. So I opened my suitcase and got out the Purification. (At that point I didn't really think it would work, but I had nothing to lose.) I put a couple of drops on a tissue and wiped it over the dash. Every time the glisten of the oil left, I applied more. I was at my destination in one hour and the odor was GONE. If you have a spray bottle you can use that. Or just apply a few drops of Purification with a tissue on the top of the tv, vanity, telephone, etc.
Good luck,
Jacke

Lavender Oil / Lemon Oil:
When I had just gotten my first Essential 7 kit and was still very tentative about using the oils my adult daughter came down with the flu: temp, achy all over, headache etc. I decided to "experiment" on her with these new oils. I put Lavender and Lemon on her spine, Peace and Calming on her feet and Peppermint on her chest. About a half-hour later she was feeling much better. The next morning she was fine. I put another dose of everything on her again
and by evening she was off to San Francisco to a party. She never relapsed. That sold me and I am now a dedicated YLEO distributor that wants to share these oils with everyone.

Lemon Oil:
What has been very successful [for acid reflux] and is most simple to do: put 1" of water into a small cup (like a 5 oz. kitchen cup). Add 5-6 drops of lemon oil. Chug-a-lug! Should be gone in under a minute. If not completely relieved, do one more time.

Peppermint Oil:
About 1 hour before reaching the summit of Mt Shasta, I was hit with altitude sickness. I was suddenly dizzied, weak, and very nauseous. I slumped down in the snow, wondering how I was going to go on. I had already been climbing for 9 hours, and was saddened that I might not be able to actually summit.
Altitude sickness, you see, requires an immediate return to lower elevations. Before the trip, though, my neighbor suggested I bring essential oils with me, and I sent for some that he suggested might be useful. I pulled out a bottle of Peppermint for the nausea and stomach ache, and put a drop on my belly and tongue. I put Brain Power on my temples, in hopes of increasing oxygen to the
brain, and put En-er-gee behind my ears in hopes of uplifting my spirit. I closed my eyes, and said a prayer to the Creator, asking for guidance. About 15 minutes later, I slowly got up. I took careful., deliberate steps to check-in with how I was doing. To my complete amazement, less than an hour later my partner and I were enjoying the majestic view from 14,000

Peace & Calming Oil Blend:
I have to add to the Peace & Calming testimonial! On my way back east last
month, I was in the airport in Charlotte. There was a grandmother with her two-ish granddaughter, and that little girl was wound up like an 8 day clock. I sat watching this little girl bounce back and forth between her grandmother and other passengers waiting for the flight, and I realized that the grandmother was at the end of her rope, and the girl was semi out of control. Well, boarding time came, and when I went to take my seat, guess who was in the center seat? Grandma and the little tazmanian devil on her lap. Oh well, I thought, it was a short hop to Atlanta...totally survivable. As we got going, I thought "what would I want someone to do if I was in this lady's shoes?" and so I decided to try to help her distract the girl, and so we played all sorts of little games and distractions. It turned out they had been traveling from Germany, and they were both exhausted. The little girl started to get really fussy, and I remembered that I had some Peace and Calming. I asked the grandmother's permission to let the little girl smell some, and she agreed. So I rubbed a couple drops on my hands, and asked her if she wanted to smell something pretty. She took a little whiff, then took one of my hands closer and took a big breath in. And not one minute later she konked out! Her grandmother took one look at her, one look at my hands and said in the sweetest southern accent "I gotta get me some of that!" The little girl slept through the rest of the flight (thank you Gary Young!), and when I saw them in baggage claim she was still out like a light! On my flight back to California, I just put some P&C on right when I settled in on the plane, and all the children were remarkably quiet. An ounce of prevention!
Take care,
Mary Lou

Another P&C airplane story:
Last week we flew from Nebraska to Florida. My 12yod had never flown and was quite nervous. When the engine on the plane revved up and we began to pull away from the airport she was shaking and crying. I pulled my P & C out of my purse and applied it to her wrists. Then I rubbed my finger under her nose so she could smell it directly. Within seconds she was calm and in a few minutes she was smiling and enjoying the climb of the plane.
What a blessing the oils are!
