A LAVENDER EXPERIENCE

I had always read about how (therapeutic quality) essential oil of Lavender will heal a burn, but until last year I had fortunately not had the chance to experience it first hand.
I got an extreme scald on my inner forearm, which was very painful, with the skin turning red and shiny - about a 4 x 6 inch area. Did I say it was very painful! I applied Lavender oil directly to the burn, and all the pain went away immediately!! It was very impressive. About a minute later, all the pain came back, and I re-applied a few drops directly on the burn. Again, all the pain went away immediately. A couple minutes later, it returned, and I kept up this process several times, until about 10 minutes after the burn, and several applications of oil later....absolutely no pain, no mark on my arm, and all sensitivity was relieved. What a blessing, and something that every household should have on hand!

I've got 2 suggestions... 1) exercise, 2) Peppermint oil (lots) Last summer I was going to the gym and during that few months I had absolutely no cramps, then in the winter when I got lazier they came back. A couple months ago I had them worse than ever before and was told by a reliable source that PMS cramps indicate emotional issues, and to use peppermint oil. I used at least 7 drops at first, and I could feel it working literally as soon as my hand touched my stomach, like my body was just waiting for it. I haven't tried Dragon Time or some of the others I've heard used for menstrual cramps, as I can only afford some of the basics. However, my sister had terrible cramps all her life, and one time she was crying it hurt so bad. We had just received some oils we hadn't tried before... I rubbed Gentle Baby over the uterine area, and in about 20 minutes, the cramps had subsided to very mild, and she was much happier! Susan D.
